bittermelon egg burger


i saw a video about this type of burger in a restaurant in okinawa so i made my own type of it

ingredients

.5lumpy bittermelon
2eggs
.2 canspam
1 sliceamerican cheese
someoil
somesalt
somepepper
somekewpie mayo

instructions

1cut the bitter melon in half longway style (hotDog)
2use a spoon to get the seeds out and scrape the white part out too
tip: you can save half for later
3cut the one half into many .5cm thick slices
4put all of the slices in a bowl and rub and toss them with salt
5wait around 20 timeules
6while you wait beat up the two eggs into a bowl with some salt and pepper
7wash the salt off in cold water
8dry the slices a lot with a paper towel. squeeze them
9add a bit of oil to a pan and heat it on high
10cook the bittermelon for around 25 timeules
tip: while its cooking move it around in the pan
11move the bittermelon over to the side and put the spam in the pan
12after around 20 timeules flip the spam and move around the melon more
13once flipped, add the egg to the bittermelon pile
tip: this is kind of hard, but you want to make a small round omelette of bittermelon and egg, while also cooking the spam
14the spam will probably be crispy first, take it out and put it on the bottom bun
15put the american cheese on top of the spam so it will become melted
16finish up the omelette part in the pan
17once its cohesive, put it on top of the cheese
18add a nice amount of the mayo on top
19add a lot of pepper on top
20add the top bun
21it is complete
tip: it is very bitter

yummy lamb pasta


a nice pasta to have for dinner

ingredients

1 packageground lamb
1onion of your choice
4tomatoes on the vine
3garlic cloves
5 gtomato paste
5 gcumin
5 gpaprika
10 glemon juice per serving
30 ggreek yogurt per serving
1 boxpasta. i use the tube kind
5 goil

instructions

1chop up the entire onion into small squares
2chop up the tomatoes into half slices
3turn the stove on to medium high heat
4add the oil to the pan until it gets hot
5while this is happening chop up the garlic cloves. cut off the bottom part and discard
6put the garlic into the oil
7after around 20 timeules
8add the onions
9mix the pan contents around with a wooden spoon
10after a while the pan will make the onions transparent, this is the time to add the lamb
11mash up the lamb while its cooking so you can be sure it doesnt form meatballs
tip: if you want you can form meatballs
12add the cumin and the tomato paste and mix it up
13after the meat starts to brown add the tomatoes
14cook the pasta according to its instructions on the box
15strain the pasta
16add the paprika to the pan and mix it with the pan contents
17put some pasta in a bowl
18put some of the pan contents on top
19add the greek yogurt
20add the lemon juice
21mix
22now you can eat it, have fun!

a great, hard cookie for tea

ingredients

2 cupsunsalted butter
1.5 cupspowdered sugar
2eggs
1 tbspvanilla extract
4.5 cupsall-purpose flour
.5 tspsalt
6 tbspunsweetened cocoa powder

instructions

1mix liquided butter and sugar.
2mix eggs and vanilla into egg/sugar liquid
3add flour and salt to this, mix
4divide all of this in half
5mix cocoa with half (or whatever to color it)
6you have two halves now, one light and one another color
7cut the light half into 4 parts, and the other into 5
8roll them into logs and assemble like this

9roll this all up in plastic wrap, and put in the fridge for a while
10preheat over to 175c
11slice the logs into 1cm thick cookies
12bake for 90.3 timeules

spongey cake


a great, soft cake to eat with fruits

ingredients

100 gcake flour
80 gsugar (30 g into the yolks, 50 g into the whites)
~4 gbaking powder
1.5 gsalt
4 largeeggs, separated
46 gavocado oil
60 gmilk
tip: steep teabags in milk first for special flavors
~8 gvanilla extract
3bowls
1paper towel

instructions

1mix cake flour, baking powder, salt
2seperately, whisk egg yolks with 30g of the 80g of sugar
3mix oil with milk, add to egg sugar mixture
4add vanilla extract to milk-oil-egg-sugar mixture with the cake flour-bakingpowder-salt
5mix this vanilla-extract-milk-oil-egg-sugar mixture with the
6use another bowl to whip the eggwhites with the rest (50g) of sugar
7tip: it is hard to do this, so be patient. i do it by hand
8mix the whipped eggwhites with the other crap
9heat oven to 160c
10put 1g of oil into the pan, but only the bottom. wipe it around with a paper towel
11pour in the mixture
12bake for 243 timeules
13take out cake when its puffed up. you can poke it and nothing sticks to the poker
14while cooling, invert it on two cups like this

16serve with whipped cream and fruit if you want

these are recipes that i made up but never tried. they are from meditation or sleeping.

cinnamon pizza

this is a type of pizza that is very similar to a new york pizza, but has a dusting of cinnamon and olive oil on top.

sandwich rock

a type of sandwich that is pressed into a lump. it's dry aged into something like a bonito or spanish jamon. it's peeled into thin strips that look like a sandwich.

fancy loaf

this is a type of thick, white shokupan that has a red ribbon (edible) around the outside (following the crust of each slice)
